Job Description

RCM&D, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance, risk management and employee benefits consulting firms, is seeking a File Room Associate for its Towson Maryland, corporate office. 

The File Room Associate must be a motivated individual who is comfortable in an office setting and looking for an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and faced paced unit.  This diverse position provides the opportunity to work with various staff, office equipment and computer software programs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Filing
  • Assisting with the mail
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Act as the main back-up for our Receptionist/switchboard assistant.

Minimum Qualifications Required to Successfully Perform the Essential Job Duties:

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • At least two years experience in an office setting.  
  • At least one year of receptionist/switchboard experience.

Knowledge and Skill in:

  • Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Knowledgeable in effective use of office equipment, primary computer, telephone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
  • Speaks and writes in grammatically correct fashion in order to effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.
  • Process the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively for maximum productivity.
