RCM&D offers employees who consistently work 30 hours or more per week, a group long-term care product. This coverage provides employees with a basic benefit for in-home or facility care when assistance is needed with the daily activities of life. RCM&D pays 100% of a basic coverage plan and employees have the opportunity to pay for additional benefits.
The basic RCM&D plan for all full-time employees is:
$1,000 per month toward the costs of an in-care facility, or $500 per month toward the cost of care in your home
- 3-year duration of benefit
The benefit is portable, and you can maintain and pay for it in full even after your employment with RCM&D ends.
In addition to employees, the plan is also available to certain relatives: parents, spouses, children and siblings.
