Ergonomics for the Aging Workforce

July 14, 2015 11:00 am

Course Overview:

No one can dispute the "graying" of the American workforce. Annually, the number of workers aged 55 and older has continued to grow twice as fast as the total workforce. Current economic conditions may be impacting the employee's decision to delay retirement and remain in the active workforce. While the skills and experience of these older workers are invaluable, it's important to understand the physiological and sensory changes that impact these workers.

This webinar will highlight some factors that need to be incorporated into workplace design in order to mitigate the risk associated with an aging workforce.
