As a Claims Consultant, Ms. Bowers is responsible for ensuring that claims are handled appropriately for the brokerage accounts, acting as their advocate when there are issues with the carrier over coverage, reserving, claim strategy, or settlement amounts.
Carrie has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career with The May Department Store Company as a general liability claim adjuster handling everything from slip, trip and fall cases to litigated false arrest claims.
In 2001, she transitioned into Agency Operations with Atlantic Risk Management, a commercial insurance agency specializing in Construction and Telecommunication. In her position as a Claim Account Manager, she advocated on behalf of middle market clients in multiple lines of coverage including Workers Compensation, General Liability, Property and Auto.
In 2012, her experience was broadened further when she took the position of Senior Claim Advisor with Marsh McLennan, advocating on behalf of global fortune 500 clients in all lines of coverage including executive management, DBA, USL&H and international.
