Carrie Bowers, CISR, CIC, CRM

With over 20 years of experience, Carrie Bowers joined RCM&D in 2015 as a Claim Consultant.

In her current role, Carrie is responsible for ensuring that claims are handled appropriately for the brokerage accounts, acting as their advocate when there are issues with the carrier over coverage, reserving, claim strategy, or settlement amounts. Coupled with her team-first approach, Carrie has vast expertise in maintaining client relationships, providing detailed reports, and has superior knowledge of coverages.

Carrie began her career with The May Department Store Company as a general liability claim adjuster handling everything from slip, trip and fall cases to litigated false arrest claims. In 2001, she transitioned into Agency Operations with Atlantic Risk Management, a commercial insurance agency specializing in Construction and Telecommunication.  As a Claim Account Manager, she advocated on behalf of middle-market clients in multiple lines of coverage, including workers’ compensation, general liability, property and auto. In 2012, she took the position of Senior Claim Advisor with Marsh McLennan, advocating on behalf of global fortune 500 clients in all coverage lines, including executive management, DBA, USL&H and international.
