Client Service Team Leader

As a Client Service Team Leader for RCM&D’s Healthcare Practice Group, Dana leads and coordinates both client and RCM&D team activities to include communication, strategy and marketing of healthcare accounts.  Her expertise consists of a wide array of areas, including integrated delivery systems, alternative risk financing programs and physician programs.

In her current role, Dana works with healthcare systems to consult, broker and design insurance programs for captives and complex risks. She specializes in both single parent and group captive programs for healthcare systems, long-term care facilities and physician programs.  Additionally, Dana has solidified excellent relationships with insurance carriers, captive managers and specialty wholesalers both domestically and internationally. Dana has been a speaker and panelist at the Cayman Captive Conference and ASHRM over the past several years. 

Before entering the insurance industry, Dana worked as a registered nurse in both the operating room and ICU units of two metropolitan Chicago hospital systems.  She began her insurance career as a physician malpractice underwriter at the State Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange/Illinois State Medical Society.  She then served as a Senior Production Underwriter for CNA Insurance Companies, where her responsibilities included underwriting, marketing and coordinating risk management and claims services for physician groups, hospitals and managed care entities.  Prior to joining RCM&D, she was Vice President of Healthcare at a multinational broker in Washington, D.C.
