Client Service Team Leader

Edward J. McLoughlin is a Client Service Team Leader for RCM&D’s Commercial Lines Division. Ed joined RCM&D in 2018 after spending over 30 years on the carrier side of the business gaining a deep understanding of the challenges involved in effectively managing insurance portfolios for individual commercial clients.  Ed has advanced expertise in relationship management, collaboration, client service, strategic planning and execution. 

Ed is experienced in underwriting, negotiations, risk management and regulatory compliance. As the Client Service Team Leader, he will leverage his experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to drive business results for the firm’s clients. His visionary leadership enables members of the client service team to sharpen their focus on emerging industry trends, continued enhancement of current insurance programs and identification of new business opportunities.    

Prior to joining RCM&D, Ed served as Regional Vice President for Key Risk, a Berkley Company. In this role, he was responsible for strategic planning, tactical execution and business development.  This followed a long tenure at Chubb & Son, Inc. where he managed the Baltimore Branch from 2002 through 2016.  Prior to his time in Baltimore, Ed served as Chubb’s Marketing Manager in Long Island, NY and Regional Manager for General Insurance in Pittsburgh, PA.
