Meet the Presenters:

Cheryl Abrams | Group Benefits Insurance Advisor, RCM&D Employee Benefits Division
Cheryl is a Group Benefits Insurance Advisor for the RCM&D Employee Benefits Division. As an Employee Benefits Advisor, Cheryl is responsible for generating and nurturing new clients for RCM&D, maintaining client relationships, working on client’s renewal strategies, coverage amounts and increased exposures. She has extensive experience providing and implementing service solutions related to her client’s technology and Human Capital Management needs and processes.

Erin Allen | President, Contemporaries, Inc.
Erin is President of Contemporaries, Inc. a small woman-owned business and staffing firm. Under her leadership, Contemporaries, Inc. has thrived. It has consistently served as the largest provider of staffing services to the National Institutes of Health under their small business program. Since 2003, Contemporaries has been one of the most successful staffing suppliers to the Department of Health and Human Services, including the FDA. Ms. Allen participates in local business outreach and in addition to serving on multiple boards she provides executive leadership to multiple organizations.

Rebecca Pearce | Extend Coaching and Consulting
Rebecca has been a leader within the health insurance field in Maryland for the past 15 years, holding positions at CareFirst Blue-Cross BlueShield and Kaiser Permanente before being chosen by Governor O’Malley to run the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange in 2011. Most recently, she served as a Vice President at University of Maryland Medical Systems Health Plans. In 2015, she was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that changed her thinking on success. Now focused on others being successful rather than running organizations herself, she offers a wealth of expertise and experience from her time within organizations of all sizes.
