Universities at Risk: A Virtual Town Hall

June 25, 2020 1:00 pm

The current risk landscape for academic institutions has changed significantly in recent months. As schools look to reopen, they need to not only evaluate how to do so safely but also how to protect their various revenue streams.

With university coffers increasingly at risk from the ongoing pandemic and the resulting school closures, event cancellations and program deferments, growing international political discord is creating additional complexity for international students seeking to attend college in the U.S. More than 5% of all college students in the U.S., or 1.1 million learners, are international students and these programs generate millions in revenue for schools. As student visas are increasingly at risk due to rising international tensions, schools need to plan ahead.

RCM&D's strategic partner, Risk Cooperative, will host a virtual town hall called "Universities at Risk" where there will be a discussion about the new risk landscape and some solutions to help schools better prepare. Risk Cooperative’s Andres Franzetti will lead the discussion on risk and revenue challenges facing higher ed, and answer your questions.
