Webinar | Enterprise Risk Management

January 26, 2018 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

This session will provide you with knowledge on how to use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) benchmarking data to lead the discussion and lay the framework for the successful implementation of an ERM program at your organization.  Many industries are struggling with how to transition their organizations towards an ERM model. This case study provides a detailed example of how one healthcare organization was able to overcome this hurdle to build, implement and maintain an effective ERM program.

The “how to get started” strategy will provide a beneficial overview to developing an ERM program inside and outside of the healthcare arena using critical risk insights garnered from an ERM study of healthcare organizations. The report paired with the case study, demonstrates how these risks and opportunities can create value for your organization if they are effectively managed in an ERM framework. The methodology presented in this session will provide key insights for organizations of any industry.

By the end of this session, the participant will be able to:

  1. Discuss how to use benchmarking study results to trigger discussion and implementation of ERM methodology in your organization.
  2. Apply lessons learned from the healthcare case study to non-healthcare organizations regarding ERM design and implementation.

Approved for 1.0 contact hour of Continuing Education Credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.

The webinar will be hosted by RCM&D risk consultant Denise Shope.
