RCM&D Healthcare Team Presents at the 24th Annual Cayman Captive

The RCM&D Healthcare team attended the 24th annual Cayman Captive Forum at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman from November 29 to December 1, 2016. Over 1,400 captive directors, risk managers, captive managers and service providers attended the Forum and discussed the most pressing issues facing the captive insurance industry.

RCM&D risk consultant, Karen Mathura, BSN, JD, CPHRM, and Johns Hopkins Health System’s Meg Garrett, BSN, JD, CPHRM, FASHRM, presented Engaged Patients: Improving Outcomes and Lowering Costs at the Forum. The presentation covered methods to increase patient engagement, the role of technology in disease management, risks associated with common patient engagement programs, trends in electronic healthcare initiatives and benefits of pursuing new patient engagement initiatives.
