BALTIMORE, MD – RCM&D honored another successful year of philanthropy with its 29th Annual Regatta on Friday, September 20th at the Baltimore Museum of Industry and Downtown Sailing Center. This year’s event brought together community members, industry colleagues, nonprofits and RCM&D employees for a day of impactful giving and a friendly sailing competition on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received at this year’s Regatta,” said Matt Kahn, RCM&D President. “The generosity of our sponsors, participants and employees allows us to make a real difference in the lives of those in need within our communities.”
The Regatta, RCM&D’s largest annual fundraising event, marks a celebration of our year-long commitment to community service and fundraising. This year’s event exceeded expectations, with 385 attendees and over $117,000 raised to support the critical work of our five regional beneficiaries: The Brandon Tolson Foundation, DePaul Community Resources, Echo Hill Outdoor School, First Fruits Farm and Helping Up Mission. The funds raised will enable these deserving nonprofits to continue offering essential resources to those grieving the loss of a child, providing foster care and adoption services to individuals with various disabilities, promoting environmental education and personal growth, supplying fresh produce to those in need, and providing shelter and support to people struggling with addiction and homelessness.
“We are thrilled by the success of this year’s event,” said Katie Caple, Corporate Outreach at RCM&D. “We are honored to contribute over $23,000 to each beneficiary, empowering them to make a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.”
We extend our greatest appreciation to all those who attended and participated in the RCM&D Regatta. This event would not be possible without the support of our corporate sponsors. We would like to thank these organizations for their generosity as our “Constellation Club” sponsors and for their commitment to helping our communities: AHEAD, Centro Benefits Research, Chubb, CNA, GuidePoint Security, INSUREtrust, RT Specialty, and Travelers.
The RCM&D team is already looking forward to planning the 30th Annual Regatta which will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025.
