RCM&D TO FORGO THIS YEAR’S REGATTA DUE TO UNCERTAINTY SURROUNDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, RCM&D has made the difficult decision to forgo this year’s Regatta. This decision is not an easy one and was made after careful thought and consideration. For more than 27 years, The Regatta has been the cornerstone celebration of RCM&D’s corporate culture. The event has raised more than $1 million for over 50 regional beneficiaries thanks to the support and commitment of community and business partners.

While all of us were hoping to set sail this year, we have decided it is best to err on the side of caution to protect the health and safety of our employees, beneficiaries, and guests. Barring unforeseen circumstances, we plan to be back out on the water in 2022 as a celebration of not only our beneficiaries and the great work they do every day, but also as a celebration of community, culture and coming together again.

While we will wait another year to celebrate in person, our commitment to giving back has not diminished. Much like in 2020, we will continue to search for opportunities to support our communities in any possible capacity.

The past year has taught us many things, perhaps most importantly, the power of togetherness. At RCM&D, we pride ourselves on our Culture of One Purpose— a culture that is passionate about collaboration and teamwork across all aspects of our business, from our employees to our clients and business partners. We look forward to sharing that culture with our new Unison Risk Advisor colleagues in 2022 and beyond.
