RCM&D’s Cheryl Caulfield Earns Certified Association Executive (CAE) Designation

BETHESDA, MD – RCM&D, a leading insurance and benefits advisory firm, announced that Cheryl Caulfield, Vice President for RCM&D ‘s Association practice group, recently earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry and is held by a diverse group of 3,000 association executives across the U.S.

The CAE program designates those who have completed the higher education, work experience, and professional development studies identified by the CAE Commission as essential to the chief staff executive role. Every CAE has passed a rigorous examination on the tasks necessary for competent association management and has committed to ongoing studies to remain abreast of current practices in association management. Founded in 1960, the CAE program stands as a mark of excellence and has evolved to reflect what it takes to manage an association in today’s challenging climate.

In her role as Vice President with RCM&D, Cheryl oversees client service and business development for the firm’s Association practice group and manages client relationships throughout the mid-Atlantic region and beyond. She is also responsible for management of the firms’ many association-sponsored affinity programs. Additionally, Caulfield is an active member of ASAE, the Public Affairs Council and the National Association of Business PACs.

Before joining RCM&D in December 2010, Caulfield worked for a number of associations and companies who work with associations and non-profits, including the National Association of Home Builders. Caulfield also co-founded an association management company, Organization Management Group, serving as Senior Vice President and Executive Director for state and local associations, including the Virginia Mortgage Bankers Association.
