Betsy Korpela, AAI, GBDS, VBS

Betsy Korpela is the Director of Operations at RCM&D. In Betsy’s role, she partners with the rest of the Executive Team to pursue growth, support the implementation of the strategic plans, and ensure operational efficiency within all departments.

Betsy started her agency career in 1994 as an Accounting Specialist. During her career, she held titles including Controller, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration, Secretary/Treasurer and Member of the Board.

Betsy’s many roles within the agency have given her the opportunity to assist, support and manage all departments. Her focus is to empower employees with the capabilities needed to provide the best possible customer experience by supporting continuous education opportunities, building career paths for continued growth, enhancing technology resources, and streamlining workflow efficiencies.

Betsy actively chairs and / or participates with various insurance industry groups and carrier agency councils, which not only provide beneficial support to the agency but also provides her the ability to share her expertise with others in the industry.
