Bill Kable serves as RCM&D Commercial Division Director. In this role, Bill works closely with the commercial insurance client service teams throughout our five regional offices as well as the managing directors and market leads. Bill engages with all of the firm’s key stakeholders to build collaborative corporate strategies for client retention, staff development and revenue growth, as well as to ensure operational efficiencies for the Commercial Insurance Division.
As the firm’s senior resource for property and casualty carrier relationships, Bill’s responsibilities include managing and cultivating those relationships for all offices and industry practices. In partnership with RCM&D practice groups and business units, he develops strategic plans with designated insurers, which align with the service, financial and operational goals of the firm. He also works with RCM&D’s client teams to develop creative and cost-effective solutions for individual client programs.
Bill has 40 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry, primarily with RCM&D. His particular strengths encompass program design and negotiation for loss sensitive programs, including large deductibles and self-insurance retentions, as well as the strategic use of alternative risk financing methods, such as captives and group captives. Bill’s expertise spans a variety of industries, including construction, real estate, financial institutions, hospitality, manufacturing-distribution, professional services and healthcare.
Bill began his career in 1977 with RCM&D as a Commercial Marketing Executive and has held various positions within RCM&D’s commercial insurance division.
