Caprisa Scruggs

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Caprisa is a lead Client Executive for RCM&D’s Healthcare Practice Group. Serving a multitude of healthcare clients, Caprisa supports all aspects of the insurance program for hospitals and health systems, physician practice groups, life science companies and more. She is responsible for ensuring a positive overall client experience by developing and maintaining the client relationship beyond annual renewal and program consultation.

As a subject matter expert, Caprisa guides the client service team in collaborating to assess the client’s risk exposures and offer the most cost-effective and proper insurance solutions. Her strategic direction assists clients with an understanding of plan design, funding, administration options and alternatives. She actively evaluates all proposals and recommends additional coverages and program alternatives with the client’s objectives and goals in mind.

Caprisa is heavily immersed in both the healthcare and insurance industries. She is not only able to provide emerging legislative and compliance updates but also provides customized recommendations on how clients can meet these challenges within the framework of their existing program or through new policies, vendors or programs.
Prior to joining RCM&D in 2005, Caprisa held several underwriting positions with increasing responsibility, including Underwriting Manager for an insurance agency and Underwriting Specialist with a large direct market company.
