Elizabeth Wright, ARM, CPHRM, CHC

Elizabeth Wright draws on more than 30 years of industry experience as a Claim Consultant for RCM&D. She is experienced in risk management, claim management, safety and compliance practices.

In her current role, Elizabeth provides a variety of risk management services, such as locum tenens coverage, risk assessments and reviews, claim handling, and guidance on safety issues. She also provides regulatory compliance assistance for litigation from The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), OIG, OCR, DHHS and state agencies. Her clients come from a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, physician groups and long-term care entities.

Elizabeth works closely with risk management, patient safety, compliance and clinical staff at client facilities, handling professional and general liability claims and overseeing defense counsel on these cases.  She performs risk assessments and presentations of risk management educational programs to staff and physicians. She has also served as a locum tenens risk manager for large healthcare clients.

Through her vast career experiences, Elizabeth has become a well-versed expert in healthcare risk management. She has worked as a risk and claim consultant for a national insurance broker, a risk manager and safety officer at an acute care hospital, and a claim representative at an international hospitality company.  She began her career working for a professional liability insurer handling physician and hospital professional liability claims and risk management. As compliance oversight becomes more necessary and valuable to healthcare entities, Elizabeth’s vast experience ensures that she can provide guidance on these issues.
