Jim Mauser

Jim Mauser brings over 25 years of experience in property and casualty. He currently serves as a Sales/Client Executive at RCM&D, responsible for offering account management and business development services to healthcare and specialized organizations across the mid-Atlantic region. With his vast knowledge and expertise, Jim is able to provide personalized solutions to meet his clients’ needs.

In his role, Jim manages the development of property and casualty and employee benefits solutions. He also works closely with clients to explore and manage their alternative risk options, and was instrumental in forming a specialized risk retention group for senior living communities in Maryland.

Jim has always been strongly invested in the healthcare industry, and his expertise spans from hospitals to senior living communities and physician groups. He currently serves as a board member for both Charlestown Retirement Community and the Beacon Institute, which is a leader in education for senior care and service providers.

Prior to joining RCM&D in 1999, Jim held various positions in claims and risk management, including with a Fortune 500 manufacturer. In addition to his industry experience, Jim served as an adjunct professor for several years at Loyola College in Baltimore, where he developed and taught an undergraduate course in insurance and risk management. Jim’s extensive background in the field has helped him to become a trusted advisor to his clients and a respected leader within the industry.
