Matthew Kahn

Matthew Kahn serves as President of RCM&D. In this role, Matt is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the firm, including sales and client service for all of our operating divisions

Matt’s primary focus is building out the highest quality client service team. He concentrates his energy on growing and training our current talent while simultaneously recruiting the best and brightest in the industry. To help attract and retain a diverse group of colleagues, Matt has supported and driven progress around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and currently leads our DEI committee.

Matt is a zealous client advocate and constantly looks for ways to enhance the client experience. Through his leadership, our service teams are positioned to provide the high level of service our clients have come to expect from RCM&D.

Previously, Matt served as the firm’s Commercial Division Director. In this role, Matt worked closely with his Co-Director to set the strategic growth plan and implement measures to enhance the operating processes for the division. Working closely with the client service team leaders and the firm’s regional local market leaders, Matt helped build and improve strategies for client retention, staff development, revenue growth and overall financial operating performance for the Commercial Insurance Division. Matt has extensive property & casualty insurance experience and continues to play a key role within the division, remaining directly engaged with clients.

From 2006 to 2017, Matt served as a Senior Client Executive and Associate General Counsel, where he provided advice and service to RCM&D as well as clients in a variety of industries. During a three-year hiatus from the firm, Matt joined one of the global publicly-traded brokers to serve as Senior Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Practice Leader.
