Michael Thrailkill, AIC, ARM, CPCU

Michael Thrailkill joined RCM&D as a Senior Client Executive within the Commercial Division, bringing more than 20 years of insurance industry experience and over a decade in client advisory roles. His career includes working with carriers, third-party administrators and brokerages, as well as serving as a corporate risk manager, which has uniquely informed his approach to client service and strategy.

In his current role, Michael leverages his deep industry knowledge to support clients across a wide range of sectors. His collaborative style and strong communication skills enable him to work seamlessly across divisions, helping ensure clients have access to the right knowledge and resources to meet their risk management goals. Michael’s understanding of internal corporate pressures and operational needs allows him to deliver solutions that align with each client’s strategic objectives.

Michael’s work spans commercial risk exposures, health and benefits, and disability and leave programs. His experience also includes oversight of Environmental Health & Safety and Security Operations, enhancing his ability to advise on comprehensive risk strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a Senior Account Executive at Aon.
