Rush Seale joined RCM&D in 2023 and brings both banking and surety expertise as a Client Executive in the firm’s Surety practice.
In his current role, Rush coordinates and actively participates in the day-to-day management of surety accounts, taking charge of bond requests, engaging in client and market dialogue for approvals, and underwriting the required information to issue bonds. Rush is also responsible for overseeing bond execution and the client service cycle, closely monitoring timeframes for stewardship plans and renewal deadlines. Rush has special expertise in reviewing trust and joint venture agreements, subdivision and mixed use projects, detailed work in progress analysis and assessing private equity and foreign investment situations.
Rush has years of experience both in surety and as a relationship and portfolio manager at various banks in the mid-Atlantic. He was responsible for the technical and financial analysis of hundreds of clients and projects in approval through credit committees and coordinating with other lines including treasury services, retirement, wealth and specialty services. While mainly focused on owner operated commercial and industrial accounts, he also handled commercial real estate including developer and hospitality groups.
Before joining RCM&D, Rush was a surety client executive at Marsh, McLennan and in commercial lending. He was most recently a vice president and relationship manager at Sandy Spring Bank, and previously EagleBank and BB&T. He also worked overseas for IBM as a financial analyst for accounts in their Asia Pacific markets. He began his career over 20 years ago on Capitol Hill.
