Shannon Burke

Shannon Burke is a Claim Consultant within RCM&D’s Risk Control & Claims Division, serving primarily out of the firm’s Harrisburg office. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and claim industry, Shannon has the expertise that comes with handling a depth of claim experiences as well as the intricate knowledge of the evolving, state-specific legal statutes for claim management.

As a claim consultant, Shannon provides day-to-day consultation with client and account teams for multi-line claims. She is skilled in completing negotiations for stipulation or settlements of claims. Shannon is responsible for coordinating the claim management process with defense counsel, maintaining adequate reserves and providing expert testimony when necessary. She is experienced in workers’ compensation, automobile, general liability and property subrogation.

In 2010, Shannon joined RCM&D’s third-party administrator and subsidiary, SISCO, as a Claim Adjuster. She joined the Risk Control Division of RCM&D as a Claim Consulting in 2013. Previously, Shannon worked as a claim adjuster for Travelers Insurance Company and Zurich North America.
