(BALTIMORE, MD) – RCM&D, a leading independent risk management, insurance and employee benefits firm, is proud to announce its selection as a finalist for the 2023 Baltimore Business Journal Best Places to Work Awards.
Finalists were selected based on employee responses from an engagement survey by Quantum Workplace. To be considered for the award, businesses must have 10 or more employees and be headquartered or have a presence in Baltimore City or Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford or Howard counties.
“Our people are what set us apart. We take great pride in our independence and in being a partner our clients can rely on. We wouldn’t be able to accomplish these goals without the team we’ve assembled,” said Matt Kahn, RCM&D President. “I believe the tremendous culture we’ve built together is what makes RCM&D a premier destination for top talent in Baltimore, the greater Mid-Atlantic region and the insurance industry as a whole.”
In recent years, RCM&D has launched several initiatives to prioritize its employees and adapt to a rapidly changing world. Following the paradigm shift in how staff work brought on by COVID-19, RCM&D adopted a flexible hybrid-working schedule that allows employees to improve their work-life balance without sacrificing collaboration or employee development. RCM&D also offers a host of benefits to its employees, including flexible time off schedules, parental leave benefits, 401(k) plans, health savings accounts and tuition reimbursement programs.
“We are constantly re-evaluating our policies and benefit programs to attract and retain top talent,” said RCM&D’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. “We believe the key to making RCM&D a special place to work is by creating a collaborative environment in which our employees can strike a balance between their personal and professional lives in order to thrive.”
Winners of the 2023 Baltimore Business Journal Best Places to Work Awards will be announced on May 23.
